Center for Intercultural Dialogue (CID) is a non-governmental, non-profit youth-led organization that works on national level in North Macedonia. Its work focuses on topics of interest for young people: from provision of services and information to research and support for policy-making and networking. CID is working to create diverse responsible and cooperative communities, where citizens are actively contributing to the social development and integration. CID runs the youth support system in the Kumanovo municipality known among youth as MultiКулти Youth Center. The main aim of the youth center is to establish ground for sustainable multiethnic cooperation by fostering intercultural learning and communication among children and young people. In addition, this is made possible by promoting democratic citizenship and fostering active participation of youth within the main decision-making processes of the community. In schools CID is ensuring proper and democratic elections of school council and further offers training for the elected representatives to better understand their role in the school decision-making and to undertake initiatives which enable active student participation. On local level CID has initiated the creation of the Local Youth Council in Kumanovo – the first one in North Macedonia which ensured all forms of organized youth are represented including the political party youth organizations.

The Scout Association of Macedonia (The Scout Association) is a non-governmental organization, which has had its first steps on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia in the distant 1921, and its shape today has been retained since 1953. Today The Scout association of Macedonia functions on the entire territory of Republic of North Macedonia with 21 active scout groups. Mission of the Scout association of Macedonia is to contribute in the development of the young people in achieving their complete physical, intellectual, moral and social potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and members of their local and national communities as well as the international communities. The Scout Association will contribute to the action with its experience in working on education of young people through the implementation of a system of values based on the scout laws, which helps building a world with people who are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in their society. Through the nation-wide volunteer network will have opportunity to outreach to bigger youth community, to advocate on local level as well established NGO and to empower more young people to take actions.

Association Centre for Research and Analysis NOVUS is a voluntary, non-profit, civic organization,
established in 2013. NOVUS works in the field of youth, non-formal education, human rights, socio-
economic development of the community as well as promoting accountable and transparent operation
of the institutions. Withing the action NOVUS will ensure to transfer their successful experience in
supporting development of the local economy through the process of building of gender perspective
community, from Strumica to all other municipalities throughout the country.
