The Style Hackathon was a two-day multidisciplinary activity combining learning, exchange, and hands-on creative work, with a strong focus on sustainability and responsible fashion. Participants explored conscious fashion, sustainable lifestyles, and the challenges of fast fashion through workshops, team activities, and guided discussions. A guest session by fashion designer Sedat Duka provided professional insights into sustainable design, ethical production, and career development, inspiring participants with practical perspectives.
The second day focused on practical creation at the Secondary Municipal School of Economics “Pero Nakov”, where participants developed and presented concrete ideas related to reuse, upcycling, and responsible consumption. By visiting the school’s design department and observing the work of design students, participants strengthened the connection between non-formal learning and vocational education. The hackathon concluded with presentations and reflection, increasing participants’ awareness, collaboration skills, and confidence to actively engage in sustainable lifestyles.
