  • Great material makes up for mediocre writing

    The story of Steve Jobs is one so exciting it overshadows the words in which it is written. I'd say the writing is mediocre, but it doesn't really matter when it's the only book which got this much detail about Steve Jobs' life. The chronological order works great, and for people like me who knows a fair bit about the subject already, it still keeps giving new details and insights all along the way. Although I wish Steve would get a more perfected personal bio than this, it's still a great read.

    Highly recommended! Not so much for Apple's story - we all know that, but for an insight into the mind of one of the best innovators and businessmen of our generation. It's all about Apple sticking with the basics - quality, design, innovation, and the hunger to prove time and again that they (read Jobs) are special.
